"Great location – walking distance to town/Golf Club. Good condition, two bedroom two bathroom self-contained unit with pool views and easy parking. Only thing I didn’t like - in the past other people had fed the lorikeets which meant when we were trying to have some sundowners on the balcony we were being bothered by the birds."

"The Lane Retreat is an incredible experience, and has become our go-to stay in the Hunter Valley. It's incredibly peaceful, with gorgeous views over the vineyard. Easy to find, and well located within a short drive of many restaurants and wineries. Thoroughly recommend!"

"We had a really lovely stay. The staff at check in were polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the area as we visited from interstate. The grounds were kept beautifully maintained, there were a few different options within close range for meals and within short driving distance to a lot of the vineyards. The only issue I had considering the price per night was minor damages that should have been fixed such as the mini fridge door coming off its hinges. Overall great stay and will definitely recommend. "

"Amazing stay! Walk to beach which is amazingly stretched out and quiet. Cafe right next to camp site, happy hour with a singer. Campsite facility is amazing, so much for kids to do! A weekend is too short"
