"Elderslie House was the perfect venue for a weekend away to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. The home was beautifully appointed, with multiple sitting areas inside and out for a large family gathering. All rooms in the main house were a great size with ensuites, and the cottage provided a great space for extra family members to stay. Our teenage kids spent most of the time in the separate games room playing pool and table tennis. Our host was amazing - always responsive, helpful and very accommodating with any requests. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or better service - everything was perfect. We'll be back!"

Jamevin Mountain retreat - Hidden Gem Perfect for Families & Large Groups

"Jamevin Mountain Retreat in Vacy was a wonderful place for 5 couples to stay for our annual Christmas in July get away. None of us had heard of Vacy or Paterson and as we wound our way to our venue, we thought that the countryside was just stunning. Of course, the winter sunshine was a blessing. The instructions on where to access the keys and then how to get to the property were excellent. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to add to the detail that the road from Vacy town to the property is long and uphill and winding. When we got there a fabulous fellow was stocking up the house with firewood, and he let the first couple to arrive into the property so they didn't have to wait for the others (with the keys). The place is large and has magnificent views. Two good size living areas, bedrooms and ensuites for all of us, and very comfortable beds. And it was very clean. Thanks to the owners for making this lovely place available to others for their enjoyment."

Family-sized getaway in the heart of the Williams valley, near Barrington tops

"It was a lovely experience. We were a group of 10 adults and 1 infant - everyone fit perfectly in the rooms including the living room's sofa bed. The heating was very effective, kitchen had everything needed to cook for 10, outside fire pit was excellent (the host had left us more than enough wood that burned nicely), view was 10 on 10, and there were a few lovely walks in the woods only a few minutes drive away."

"Wide open parking, Motel was going though a bit of renovation. Rooms and elevator where clean and in good working order. Air conditioning was a bit under par, but worked enough to make the stay pleasant. No restaurant due to upgrades to the motel. "
