The best time to go to Donvale is during the shoulder seasons of autumn (March to May) and spring (September to November), as these months offer pleasant weather conditions for exploring.Autumn in Donvale brings mild temperatures, typically ranging from 12°C to 20°C, with less rainfall than the winter months. This makes it a great time for couples to enjoy outdoor activities like bushwalking in the nearby Warrandyte State Park or visiting local wineries without the intense heat of summer. The changing foliage also adds to the scenic beauty of the Dandenong Ranges.Spring offers similarly comfortable weather, with temperatures usually between 10°C and 22°C. The days are longer, and the local gardens and parks, such as those within the broader Manningham area, are in full bloom. This period is ideal for families looking to spend time outdoors, perhaps exploring the numerous walking trails or enjoying picnics in the open spaces.
