"This was our fifth time staying at Villas de Rosa. It is my preferred home away from home. If you are in need of rest and relaxation and a beautiful beach and water, this is the place. The condo has a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook, and if you don’t feel like it — beach bar next door is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Aventuras Akumal is a bit under 2 miles from Akumal which is why it is a little quieter, if you want to have easier access to more sights or food options, I recommend renting a car. We mostly, happily, stayed put. Hotel Manager Tony is just a WhatsApp message away with helpful tips, a new lightbulb or to call you a cab. I cannot speak more highly of him, he is great at his job. And all the units have fobs instead of keys which are soo easy to use. The things that are the same in the best way are the comfy beds and amazing water pressure. Rooms are super clean and the housekeepers do a great job at cleaning up the sand we track in . Oops. This charming family-run hotel is great for couples and families.
