"A very beautiful hotel in close proximity to the historic wall. But far enough away that you’re not surrounded by other tourists. Our room was clean and we loved the design and decor. "
"Great location and nice easy stay, friendly staff. Used regularly for somewhere to get my head down when travelling and works perfect and really good value.
Car parking works well too."
"Second stay at this hotel, so it must be good! We had another enjoyable stay, and would return again! Staff helpful and pleasant. Room spacious and clean with kettle and refreshments. Comfy bed, clean towels, shampoo and body wash, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, safe and TV. Everything one needs! Excellent breakfast, and about a 15 minutes walk into the City Centre. Car Parking available at the hotel too for an extra cost."
"The room was lovely overlooking the garden. I'd ordered a fruit platter, and it was delivered to the room with a great range of fruits. A clean well appointed room supplied with a variety of teas/coffees, biscuits with a kettle and waters in the fridge. Very friendly helpful staff who supplied us with more decaf drinks as needed and help as required. We enjoyed our evening meals in Peacheys restaurant which has a large choice of meals. The hotel being next to the station, makes it an ideal place for your holiday. It is also only a few minutes walk from the centre of York and all museums, parks and shops."
