Talardy, St Asaph by Marston’s Inns
4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (307)
"This was a good experience. The only issue was the wardrobe was a shelf with a few hangers and no drawers, so we basically kept everything in a suitcase, but we only stayed for 3 nights, so maybe other rooms had more storage. The room was spacious and very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice. There was also a reasonably comprehensive evening menu. Recommended."

Bodysgallen Hall & Spa
4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (92)

There was one waiter serving from the bar and we sat on the lawned terrace for 25 minutes and no one came to serve us so I had to ask reception to send someone. The spa is very old and desperately in need of a full refurbishment. The food was fairly good but considering the cost wasn’t worth it as I've eaten better three course meals for less in many other top restaurants. It’s a shame as the setting is lovely with the hotel buildings,...
