"The flat is clean and compact, located in a Mews. Very close to the Railway station - less than 10mins walk. Parking is free for initial 30min outside the gate - to unload. The Host provided permit for the weekend. The area also gives free parking, daily from 4:00pm until 10:00am the next day. It is also a 10minutes walk from the flat to the beautiful Town Centre of Bury St Edmunds "

There for a family gathering having lived in Long Melford for a few years previously The cottage was warm, welcoming and beautifully equipped, set with with the stunning backdrop of Long Melford church and a stones throw from a great gastro pub."

"Excellent place to stay, quiet and well located, lovely property, we will certainly use again. The one problem is that the address we were given by the property manager was incorrect. The owner of the place we turned up complained that this had happened on a number of occasions and he was pretty fed up with it (I cant balme him). "Donna was a great host! Responded very quickly, and the check-in instructions were very detailed and helpful. The place was very clean and well stocked; a small kitchen with all the items you’d need, and the bathroom was very clean and well presented. I would definitely recommend, so lucky to have found this little treasure."

"We had a lovely stay mostly. The owners were away until the last night so it was quiet and there was everything we needed. Mostly clean although some areas really needed some attention. Lovely bathroom and a very comfy bed in main bedroom. Really ought to be an apartment for 2 because whoever stays in the 2nd bedroom has to go through main bedroom to get to the bathroom. In present state it doesn’t really work for a 2nd bedroom though because as we found out on last night, when someone’s in the...

"Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. "

"a good stay. Perhaps some of the property could do with a more thorough clean as I ended up cleaning the whole cutlery drawer. Somewhere to hang washing would be beneficial as not every clothing item is suited for the washer dryer. Bathroom nice, but as others have commented, some amenities would be welcomed"

"Booked and paid for 3 nights at last minute because of a family emergency at Addenbrokes hospital. Could not contact host for check in instructions dispute numerous attempts by myself and hotels.com. Therefore never got access to property and now am being refused a refund. Host insists they emailed us which is totally untrue and just a reason to keep my money. How can they make me pay for something they know they did not provide. "

"the property looked clean and the bed was comfortable. however the lack of internet connection through the wi-fi was a great inconvenience. there was no national tv service except using one's won netflex log-in. I guess this is because there is no tv licence covering the premises. there was a good 30 min walk to the town centre, no 10 min as stated. overall the property was comfortable but inconvenient in the above mentioned. "We were very disappointed when we arrived at the property. It was in a poor state of repair with 2 of the electric heaters hanging off the wall. The toilet was dirty and there were stains on the floor. Walls and doors were damaged and filthy as were the blinds in the rooms. There was also a bag of dirty laundry outside the front door. There was no welcome pack or information about the area. Both bedside lamps did not have bulbs. The check in required photo ID to be sent which was not...

"Communication was horrendous. We were left sat waiting for check in till really late firstly because additional checks and paperwork were required then secondly the owner didnt show with the keys till around 6.30/7pm. Also we had trouble with the key fob which would not open the front door to the building (which we didnt know until we tried to use it). Agreements were arranged for the owner to meet on more than one occasion then they didnt show. We asked for direct contact to make it easier...

"Beautiful cosy cottage in a sweet little village. We had the most wonderful mid week family break. Very nicely decorated with everything you would need. Steep stairs and uneven floors but nothing we couldn't cope with-added to the fun! We took the new family puppy and it was in a perfect location for the county park and lovely walks. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back!!"
