Lovely half term break with my family
Beautiful cosy cottage in a sweet little village. We had the most wonderful mid week family break. Very nicely decorated with everything you would need. Steep stairs and uneven floors but nothing we couldn't cope with-added to the fun! We took the new family puppy and it was in a perfect location for the county park and lovely walks. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back!!

cosy cottage
Copper Cottage is a delightful property, which has been tastefully furnished and equipped. We very much enjoyed our stay there. It was cold on arrival (on a very wet, miserable day) and we never did manage to get the stove to light, despite both following the instruction sheet and phoning for advice. Only other quibble was the space at the rear - although not mentioned on line, the fact there was a back door suggested an enclosed space, which with a dog is important - this rear space also floods after heavy rain! Nonetheless, a lovely place to stay.

Absolutely Lovely and Relaxing
We arrived late and stressed son it was great to open the door and walk into into a fairytale. The property was exactly as advertised. The kids were super excited for WiFi and a Smart TV. I loved the big tub on the ground floor. Wonderfully updated kitchen. The bed was oh so comfortable. Our only hiccup was we could not figure out how to turn in the heat but did not really need it in the end. The hosts was very responsive. Situated right in town it was a short walk to everything. The local residents were extremely nice. We discovered 2 pubs so my husband was excited. The next morning several cyclists were going through which made him jealous because he’s an ex competitive cyclist. We were lucked out by booking during a Music Festival weekend. We had to cut our time short beca Of a family emergency but plan on being back. Fantastic experience.
