Only staff to greet us and at breakfast - never saw anyone beyond those times. Some staff could not speak English so it was difficult to communicate (breakfast and cleaners). Was sure we booked a room with an ensuite (which we did have) yet we were informed it was an upgrade?"

"This is a beautifully decorated boutique hotel with delightful staff. Everything is newly refurbished. We stayed 5 nights in Cinque Terra in the winter off season. The hotel is on the street level so no pulling your suitcases up the steep hills. Be sure and eat at the La Barcaccia restaurant about a block away. The food is delicious and the chefs and staff are friendly and accommodating. "
