"The location was ideal for a night before a flight early the following dsy from Bristol airport. Very convenient and quick access, room was fine, however the walls between the rooms must be paper thin as we could hear other guests talking and moving about."
"Very easy to get settled in the room. A lot of free honesty policy amenities & activity accessible within the accom. Lovely place for the price especially."
"Such a great stay at the hideaway. The accommodation and views were stunning.
Had such a warm welcome from the hosts and the breakfast and attention to detail just made it that bit more special. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again "
"Wonderful building with charming, comfortable and quiet rooms - you can see why The Cross is a very popular place to stay.
The host was extremely helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast was one of the best that we have had on our travels, very well cooked and extremely good quality.
A big shout out to Luna the cat too!
Thanks for a lovely couple of days. "

"Modern hotel with comfy beds next door to the airport. Food is good and there is a nice option to bag up continental items for early morning departures. "
"We have just had the most magical week at Cameley Lodge, the most perfect place where 4 generations of our family came together to celebrate our Mum's 90th birthday. The Lodge is wonderful, clean, spacious and with so many of us, never felt crowded. The rooms are all beautiful and comfortable, a huge well equipped kitchen, a dining area which accommodated us all easily and plenty of outside space for us to enjoy. The setting is really gorgeous and peaceful and there are lots of footpaths to explore the local area. John and Paula were absolutely lovely hosts and we cannot thank them enough making us so welcome and their kindness."
"My wife and I chose to have a little couple away time and The Litton was the perfect place to do it.
Not only is it one of the most stylish and beautifully done out country pubs I've ever had the pleasure to visit, not only was the food superb (both dinner and breakfast), not only was the decor spot on, not only was our room meticulously clean with such a well stocked minibar and every room amenity you could ever need but on top of all that the service was second to none.
Every staff member was friendly, knowledgeable and they all went the extra mile with a smile to make sure everything was just right.
I wish we'd caught more names because everyone was genuinely great but special mention to Olly who couldn't do enough for us.
Highly recommended people!"
WILLOW RIDGE - a large country house with 3 rental rooms
10/10 Excellent
"Willow Ridge is a fabulous country house perfectly situated just outside Bristol. From here you can explore the whole area easily including Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge caves, Bath, Glastonbury and Weston-super-mare and more. The host cannot do enough for you and makes you feel at home right from the start. The room was clean and comfortable and decorated to a high standard with terrific views across the countryside. I have to mention the vast welcome package informing guests of the wide area, restaurants, site seeing etc. amazing. Car parking right at the door. I would definitely return if I was in this area and hopefully will. "
"I have stayed at the Hunters Rest for 2 nights a fortnight for over a year. The staff are really friendly. My room (contemporary four-poster) was lovely - way cheaper than an average room in a city centre hotel. The food is delicious pub food. It’s in a beautiful location away from the crowds but with a local clientele. Really can’t say anything negative."
"What a little gem this place is. Chew Magna is stunning and The Queens is a great place to stay. Room was lovely and well decorated. Everything was clean too. Staff were welcoming, chatty, friendly and we wished we were able to eat there but we’d already got dinner plans elsewhere or we’d have happily just settled in for the evening. The locals were lovely too and got chatting to a few of them whilst we had a drink and enjoyed the sunshine. Would definitely recommend and we will head back one day and stay overnight and dine there. "
