We had a great week at the bungalow - a lovely, clean and spacious property. Extremely welcoming all round, lots of games and garden toys to play with and plentiful supplies in the bathroom and kitchen. Highly recommend it!
Thank you Jacqueline, we had a great stay at your happy holiday home. We found everything that we needed to have a peaceful and most enjoyable time in the home and its gardens. We hope to make it back here again for our next trip to the UK. The garden was very flowerful and the fields so inviting. We saw a few happy hoppy shy bunnies. Lots of birds.
Booked as details described the property as Accesible. It was perfect in every way for my young grandson in a wheelchair. So spacious. Weather wasn't great but it didn't matter, we were so warm and cosy.
A lovely property in a fantastic location. A wide variety of walks from the property and the village is a short walk. The village boasts a few pubs - the pelican was excellent, highly recommend especially on pizza night. The property is very well equipped and the owners is extremely helpful. Highly recommend and we will definitely be rebooking.
My family have now returned to Australia after their stay in Chew House. They loved the property, it is in a beautiful location, everything was provided (cakes were appreciated!) and the garden area with slide was ideal for the children. Thank you from them.
A very comfortable cottage, modern and immaculately kept, in a delightful country setting, yet close to shops, pubs, attractions etc...
This is our third stay, and it was as delightful as ever...!
And many thanks to our host Jackie, who made us most welcome!...!

This house is absolutely perfect for those with limited mobility. The house is safe and well equipped for the elderly or disabled. The kitchen has everything you might need. Communication with Jacqueline was amazing both before and during our stay and nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely faultless stay.
It was a perfect size for us, family and friends.
The owner Jackie has thought of everything you could possibly need for your perfect stay; including items in the fridge to start you off, fresh fruit and even a Victoria sponge cake!
A good time was had by all!!
Thank you,

We just spent four nights at this beautiful house. Everything you could’ve ever wanted traveling with a family from the United States for my father‘s funeral. Having grown up in this area being able to stay in my home village very close to everything with such fond memories was very special.
The house is very modern and well equipped With heated bathroom floors, which was lovely when the temperature dipped a little bit!
When we return, we will definitely ask to stay here again,
Jacqueline our wonderful host was in constant communication and knowing we were returning home for somewhat sad reasons really cheered us up with some beautiful Christmas decorations for the house and some lovely welcome food items in the kitchen. She could not have been more gracious and we’re very grateful for the hospitality.
This quality of accommodation and hospitality is rare so thank you for an amazing visit.
Love from the Brods
The area was a surprise, the countryside was beautiful, lots of interesting walks and things to do. Eating out was a highlight with so many fantastic places to eat. Best fish and chips in the uk at the Salt and Malt. The host was very hospitable and made us feel at home. We would highly recommend staying here.
We celebrated new years here couldn’t fault the place. The property is beautiful and much larger than we expected. Every conceivable requirement has been taken care of from the fantastic kitchen to the stunning bathrooms. Surrounded by countryside and a 10 minute walk to the charming nearby town, the property was perfect as a base to explore the area. Jaqueline the host was wonderful and really helpful. Highly recommended. First class.

Thank you Jacqueline for welcoming us at your lovely house. The house is very well equipped and made our stay with two small children a real pleasure. We loved the rural atmosphere and cute village Chew Magna.
The bungalow is terrific, and the host most welcoming...
We enjoyed our stay just as much as last year (despite the rainy weather) and we will return...
Beautiful peaceful property, well cared for and superbly provisioned. Host could not be more helpful. Well positioned between Bristol and Bath so no shortage of things to do. Highly recommend!
The host Jacqueline was a pleasure to work with and all four of us enjoyed this very well-equipped home. The home is in a very quiet relaxed beautiful location and was very comfortable. All of our expectations were either met or exceeded and we would not hesitate to return

Amazing stay in Chew Magna with everything you could wish for in this wonderful property.
From the moment we arrived and were shown around the property, we felt totally at home . Safe, quiet, comfortable and more than the photographs portray, this property offers a country retreat to remember! Jacqueline and her father were the perfect hosts, offering friendly advice and assistance when we arrived, but without imposing on our time or privacy. If we return to this beautiful part of the country, this will certainly be at the top of our list, if available!
