"Buffett breakfast wasn't as good as we thought it should be. Cooked breakfast was quite bland. No air-conditioning in the room, there was a small desk fan that was of no use, but as its an old building we didnt expect anything at all."

"Clean, well presented hotel in the centre of Chester. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was pleasant and cool. Be mindful of the items in the minibar, while some are free other may incur unexpected costs. The free continental breakfast was a little too formal. The waited service bringing individual items to the table on request was new to us. Parking was available on the second floor with an enterance into the hotel but charges apply. A pleasant stay, with a nice range of restaurants and bars."

"On check in I had to wait until the room was ready but at least 5 couples checked in before me. They could have let me know when the room was ready instead I had to que up again. Other thank that all good clean hotel nice staff."
Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel, Chester

"We always stay in this hotel because the location is right in the middle of Chester, the rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. Lovely fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Our room had air conditioning though not available in all rooms I think, much needed for our stay in the extreme hot weather. Reception was very pleasant and welcoming and helpful. Great hotel to stay for a few days visit to Chester. we always stay at the back of the hotel as it is quieter."

"We enjoyed our two night stay at the Indigo in Chester very much. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room though a little short on storage and no useable bedside tables. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the staff pleasant and friendly and the services very good. We took our evening meals in the Forge Restaurant within the hotel where we enjoyed fine food efficiently served. A special thank you to Steph who took such good care of us. This a professionally run establishment which also has a human touch."

Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa

"While we had one quick overnight on our trip between London and Glasgow, we wished we had more time at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa! We had a huge, well-appointed, spacious room with three beds, vaulted windows overlooking the beautifully landscaped gardens and delicious amenities! We enjoyed breakfast in the Palm Court restaurant, swam (during kids' hours) and walked the gardens. Again, we wish we had time to enjoy the other restaurant and spa!"
