"Quiet and clean"

"I stayed at Wombalee with my partner & our dog, this July.It was an awesome home to enjoy the views, nearby bushwalks, visiting Mayfield Gardens, antique stores as well as exploring the property’s beautiful paddock & acreage.Highlights of most days was visiting the butchers in town, going back to the well-appointed kitchen for a cookup while the fireplace was being setup, then chilling on the super-comfy sofas with a red wine & or the local port."

"Perfect for a group of 12, plenty of space, lovely grounds and incredible old home. Kitchen well stocked, had the most beautiful weekend with friends, food and fire. "

"The property was amazing and the views spectacular. The house is very spacious with room to spread out. Beds & pillows were all comfortable, water pressure in showers were good and beautiful soft towels. We saw kangaroos each day on the propertyWe stayed for 2 nights In winter, I would recommend bringing at least 4-5 bags of wood, kindling and fire starters.The wood provided was only 3 pieces per inside fireplace and we had to clean out the fireplace from the previous booking. Being a group of ladies who do not have fireplaces at home and it bring the only heat source in the living areas, it would have been great if the fireplaces were set up and all we had to do was light them. We were tripping the power when we had the oven, microwave and dishwasher on and one of the heaters in the bedrooms was also constantly tripping the power. It was a shame the bed in the upstairs master bedroom wasn’t on the other side so you could lay in bed and see the sunrise/view of the mountainThese were only small inconveniences, overall it was a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again. "

"Vera's of Oberon has been carefully & lovingly renovated to be a welcoming home away from home. Dan was a lovely and responsive host and made our stay very easy.Vera's was an excellent base for our adventures in the country and was a highlight of our trip!"

"Great location but the house number was hard to read if arriving at night Inside was beautiful, clean and modern but the table and chairs outside were not clean so I couldn’t sit to put on my shoes Greeted by two very friendly dogsBeds comfortable and loads of room for storage "
