"The view at the balcony was beautiful. Room is clean. The only downside, they don’t clean it everyday maybe unless you request. We have to request for towels and K-Pods for tea and coffee every night to replenish. They don’t have microwave so you cant take your leftovers from restaurants. We tend to order a lot to try different local foods. Their specialty burger and truffle fries are so delicious. Cocktails are hit or missed. 2 cocktails that we ordered tasted like mocktails. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion are great quality. How I wish they just include the sunscreen and after sun lotion in the room for hassle free since it’s included in their resort fee. The cabana is an excellent beach/pool amenity. The receptionists, hotel porter and valet are the best!!! Overall, we had a great time!!!"
"Absolutely gorgeous property, amazing main lobby, love the pools, love the beach, love the room! Team is very nice and provided us with a bottle of champagne and snack tray for our honeymoon! Less dining options than some other resorts, but ate multiple times at the terrace and had great meals each time, and a bit cheaper than other dining options at competing resorts. Definitely felt like our money was well spent here, as oppose to another resort we stayed at in Wailea. Will remember for a long time and definitely recommend! "

"Some buildings are not new but the view is perfect and relaxing if ypu stay here you will be able tonuse most of there facilities from the hotels to the rentals (condo) good if you have kids "
"We stayed at the Ali'i for almost two weeks, as a family of five. This property consists of individually owned apartments, so the experience could vary a bit by apartment. We were in unit 135, which was excellent - great condition, very spacious, great view of the ocean, and yet very quiet (except for one hour each evening where we heard the Luau from the Westin next door). The beach is pretty wide near the Ali'i and was not at all crowded when we were there, which was very nice. The property is family-friendly and had separate pools for kids and a 'quiet' pool for adults. Whaler's Village, with its shops and restaurants, is just a five-minute walk away. The waves at this part of the beach are pretty high and there are no coral reefs near the shore, so it is not a good place for snorkeling, but an excellent choice for surfing. Overall, we had a great time and would be happy to recommend the Ali'i. It's definitely not cheap, but worth it."
