Walk to the 'World's Safest Beach' from this beautiful, furnished Beach Home and enjoy the white sands and mild ocean surf that put Carpinteria on the map as a great family resort town. With views of the ocean, the new Salt Water Marsh Reserve and the scenic Santa Ynez Mountains, the 'Beach House ' is the perfect location for long term or short term rentals. Easy drive to Santa Barbara wine tasting vineyards, downtown Santa Barbara shopping, night life, dining, sailing, fishing, music festivals. A convenient place to stay for Carpinteria's Avocado Festival, Carp's Triathlon, Santa Barbara Cancer Run, Carp's Surf' n Suds Beer Festival, Rods & Roses classic auto show, Carpinteria Seal Nookery, Santa Barbara Polo Cub matches, Carpinteria Surf Camp, Carpinteria's Farmer's Market, tours of Carpinteria's Orchid Farms, Santa Barbara Sea Glass and Ocean Festival and many other events.



This classic home has two bedrooms and two baths and is decorated with comfy charm. The spacious, newly remodeled kitchen seats eight and has a real antique stove you can cook on plus an oven/second range. Walk upstairs and enter the family room, stunning hardwood floors with cathedral ceilings and lots of bright sunshine with views all around. Both bedrooms have king-size beds with roll-away beds in the closet and a blow-up bed. A large enclosed backyard with a barbecue and sitting area is great for entertaining. An outdoor shower is convenient for rinsing off sand after a day at the beach. Enjoy sunset views on the upper balcony.

You can walk to great shops and restaurants downtown or hop on a train to Santa Barbara for the day, the depot is four blocks away. A cute seasonal attached unit nicknamed 'The Sugar Shack' features a rustic attic-style cottage with a sleeping area during peak season months (The unit has no heat and is closed in the off-season). Nest cameras provide security for specific ext. entrances only.

One small pet (35 lbs. or less) is permitted during the off-season. There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee to cover the cost of pet-related issues, ranging from poop sweeps of the backyard, cleaning of the carpets, garbage barrel accidents, etc. NO pets are permitted during the high summer season from mid-June to mid-September.

Perfect get a way home

We absolutely loved our VRBO home. Great area. Walk to downtown. Quiet and clean. Host got back to me within 15 mi utes when we had a question. Everything we needed was in the house. Can’t wait to go back Miss the Spot already.

Perfect Place to Vacation

We loved staying in this Beach House! It was so comfy and warm! There was so much room to relax and enjoy our visit. The kitchen was very well supplied, and the back yard was perfect for play time. It was clean as a whistle, and the communication with the owner was easy and straightforward. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time at the beach house; the property and location were both perfect for our needs as a family, and the house is so well set up for days out to the beach. Carpinteria is the best. Wonderful Beach House

The Beach House was great for us! Very close to the main street of Carpinteria as well as the beach. We had a dog and an eleven year old with us and both enjoyed the house. The porches were great for relaxing an taking in the scenery. Beautiful backyard as well. The home owner was very responsive and easy to contact. We hope to be able to return someday!

Great spot in Carp

We have stayed in multiple properties in Carp and we all really enjoyed Ruta's place. It was very cozy. We loved the beds and were within walking distance to the beach and downtown. A great deck where you can see the ocean was a bonus. Plus she has lots of beach toys for the kiddos. We would highly recommend.

Carpinteria, best keep it a secret!

Very nice and comfortable. Ruta was very helpful and even told us about local events like the farmer’s market on Thursdays. Really good stuff. We love Carpinteria, this one was one to remember and the Beach House helped to make it so.

Perfect getaway

This is an outstanding property with a TOP NOTCH HOST. just 4 blocks from the beach, the Host provides everything you could want to make your stay a beach friendly experience. The kids boogie-boarded all day then relaxed at home after the sun set. We made trips into Montecito and Santa Barbara, which are just 10-15 minutes away. We will definitely come back!

Great Space!

Our foursome stayed for a few nights while we attended a family wedding nearby. Our host was phenomenal. She was proactive in communicating with us and very helpful. The house had two king beds which was important to us! It was located in a charming community near the beach and the quaint downtown. We didn't spend a lot of time here, but the sleep was sound and the beds very comfy.
