"This was just my idea of what a beach house should be... simple but tasteful, comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect - roomy and well equipped. The beach is just steps away and it's such a wonderful beach... lots of shells and wonderful for long walks. The sunsets are the best part and lovely neighbors. There is not a dish washer but we got used to it. Owner was very responsive and helpful when we needed to contact her. I recommend this house highly and its proximity to main street Carpenteria is a real plus. Pamela"

"I think this was our 5th trip to Carpenteria. We live in the Bay Area but one of my daughters and husband live in LA. We are making it a tradition the celebrated Easter there and this was one of the nicest places we’ve rented. It has everything we are looking for; especially access to Santa Claus Beach. Very dog friendly, spacious, well kept. What’s not to like. The next time we head to Carpenteria this will definitely be our first choice to return to. Thank you very much for making our stay easy and enjoyable."
