"We had an amazing stay in the ocean penthouse room. The view was beautiful with an excellent way to watch the sunset. The room was spacious and clean. The overall location of the hotel was easy to get to, while also easy to travel within Cape Town. We definitely cannot recommend Sovn enough and would come back here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Camps Bay Retreat! The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit. Our room looked exactly as pictured, and the views around the property were absolutely beautiful. The food was also a highlight—breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved the afternoon tea and scones. Everything about our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Camps Bay Retreat!"

"We've stayed in the Caps Bay area a number of times but this was our first time at Shell Cottage, and now we won't stay anywhere else - we absolutely loved it! The location is unbeatable (it's safe and you can walk right down to the beach, shops & restaurants) and the property is magical. Our host Alia went out of her way to accommodate us by including a toddler crib and making sure the pool was closed for our daughter's safety. Priviledge cares for the property and she made us feel immediately at home. The house comes with everything you need and more."

Across the board, a wonderful experience - to the entire staff from check in, to the bar men, Denzel and Thabo, to the restaurant staff, to the spa staff especially Thandie, the dining staff, to the doormen and all other staff that made our stay the experience it was, THANK YOU. Then add the above to the Morea’s stunning location over looking Camps Bay beach with the mountains in the back ground!! We are looking forward to staying at Morea again when we are back in CT."

"We loved the proximity of the property to Camps Bay residents & beaches which were less than 5 minutes away. The staff was friendly, helpful on arrival and sparse the rest of the time. Yet, the property is fairly self sufficient so it was not a big deal. The property is in good shape, safe, clean, fresh paint … the amenities are not very important other than the garage which was super handy for our car. We would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed here for 13 nights as a multi generational family. Two air conditioning units were installed in the two main bedrooms earlier this year at our request and we were so thankful for that. Unfortunately, two more of the front bedrooms didn’t have air con & were unbearably hot! It was 37 degrees the day we arrived, and the portable fans just didn’t do anything to cool those two rooms. My two year old granddaughter was in one of them, and we couldn’t get the room to cool down below 31 degrees, so we had to bring her into our room for several days - not ideal. My son, his wife & 1 year old were in the other front bedroom without air conditioning, and they found it impossible to get a good nights sleep for many of the nights we were there. They were almost at the point of trying to get a hotel somewhere. We ended up using blankets, taped onto the guttering and railings to make shade sails outside the rooms, on the balcony. I have since spoken with Charl, the house manager, and I’m told that two more air con units will be fitted this month. The house is spacious & has several different outside areas for eating and relaxing, with lovely views. Kitchen is well equipped. The area is very nice & we felt safe & secure at the house. Philly, the house keeper is delightful & very helpful. We used Ubers to get around, which were reliable & reasonably cheap."
