We booked at The Winchester last minute because of canceled flights and we were thrilled we did. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was amazing. The location in Sea Point was great. Lots of walking and decent access to restaurants and shopping. We took in the sunset every night at the hotel bar, which had wonderful food and great cocktails. We will certainly consider staying here again.

I loved the stay at Winchester. Very well located in sea point in a beautiful property. Breakfast was delicious, there was parking available for very little additional price, and staff was simply fantastic, vey thoughtful and friendly. I had to checkout around 5 am for and early flight and they prepared a breakfast box to go.

Great stay!

Great hotel, beautiful view. Our only suggestion was to have a pillow menu, because the ones on the bed were so bad. Also, parking was pretty expensive considering you pay so much for a room, it should be complimentary. Otherwise we loved it.

Perfect spot

Perfect location for us. The hop on hop off bus stop was just over the road and Ubers readily available for going out at night. 10 mins by car to V&A harbour and Camps Bay was 10 mins in other direction. Friendly and attentive staff although on occasion the service was quite slow - but we learned this is the South African way so went with it.

Excellent place to stay in Cape Town

Excellent hotel- the location and staff were amazing! Could walk to Mojo market and V&A waterfront for excellent food options. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and the view from the hotel, service, and amenities cannot be beat. I would 100% recommend this hotel to any friend thinking about traveling to Cape Town!

Modern and clean hotel with great breakfasts

Cool renovated hotel with an astonishing internal yard. Breakfasts were among the best we've had during our trip. Reception gentlemen was super friendly and gave us a lot of useful insights on where to eat and where to go hiking.

The Winchester was a wondeful place to stay. Less than 10 minutes by Uber to the Waterfront and close to Camps Bay. Sea Point also has some nice dining options and shopping. We felt safe walking around this area, even in the evening The hotel itself is beautiful. The inner courtyard with the bougainvillea is postcard perfect. The service is great and the rooms are nicely appointed and clean. We would love to return some day.

Beautiful Rooms and very comfortable stay

A beautiful hotel with great parking facility. Located along the coast line and easy walk of 20 mins up to the main bars and restaurants area or the stadium. Breakfast and all food we ate here along with the service is excellent. All the staff throughout the hotel are very attentive and happy
