"Our family very much enjoyed our stay in Portobello. The house was great and there a number restaurants, pubs, stores nearby. Portobello provides a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh, but all of the iconic sites in Edinburgh are only a quick bus ride away. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back in the future."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. "

"The property was clean and pretty much as advertised. Note there are not four queen size beds but 2. The cutlery could do with being changed too as it is cheap and not fit for purpose."

"My wife and I and our 3 older kids loved staying here. The place is very nice and the 3 separate showers were really helpful. It’s close to a bus stop that we used to head into Edinburgh each day. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"A beautiful well-appointed house in a great location. Easy to walk around the city from here but bus and tram stops very nearby too. The house is gorgeous and felt like home the moment we arrived."

"Check in process was very easy.. Owner was very welcoming. Owner kept in touch via text throughout our stay to check everything was OK. Beautiful property. Very clean and lots of home comforts. Huge secure garden for dogs and the games room was an added bonus. We spent most of our nights in there and it was brilliant! Well worth a booking for a big group of people."

"We appreciated that the flat was well equipped with everything you need in daily life. A range of basic groceries was provided, too. Super markets, tram/ bus stops and restaurants are only a stone‘s throw away, which was great. Even though our host made sure the flat was well cleaned and we had windows opened whenever possible, a smell of mildew and chlorine cleaner was ever-present. "dopo essere arrivati alla struttura e averlo comunicato all'host, non ricevevo il codice per le chiavi. siamo stati fuori ad aspettare per 40 minuti. poi, finalmente mi è arrivato il codice via sms, ma ho capito che c'è stato un problema di connessione internet al di fuori della casa. La casa è ottima, con quattro stanze doppie, due bagni e una cucina. mancavano un po' di posate, c'erano solo 4 sedie in cucina (eravamo in 8), e hanno dimenticato un asciugamano sporco nel bagno di sopra, che ha...

"This was a genuinely pleasant stay. The hotel was easily reached from Waverley, with a number of buses taking about 20 minutes to reach the hotel. The welcome in the hotel was friendly and engaging, and the room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Checkout was also a dream too. There's a Morrisons about a 2 minute walk from the hotel too. Definitely recommended. "

"Easy check in, clean and well kept accommodations. Friendly and inclusive staff. Nifty old building. Nice vibes throughout. Convenient location. I stayed in a private room so cannot speak for the dorms, however, our room was satisfactory, cool and comfy. I stayed only 1 quick night so wasn’t able to enjoy any activities besides sleeping, but they seem to have schedules of things going on in (or around?) the hostel. Would recommend if you want to stay close to the city centre and want to be around other travellers. You can choose between shared dorm rooms or private rooms. "
