The staff were very friendly and welcoming the food was very good with a lot of choices,the rooms are basic but very clean. The rooms are not very quiet if you have an early start.

This is an adequate place to stay the night before an early flight from Bristol, but otherwise there isn’t much to recommend. The premises are uninspiring and there is a lot of road noise. For a quieter stay, ask for rooms 1-6, which are away from the road. During our stay there was also noise from other guests entering at all hours. We received help arranging for a taxi to the airport but could have simply taken the bus, which stops very near the hotel and is half the price of a taxi. The bus runs every 15 minutes or less.

The hotel was on a busy road and despite secondary glazed windows it was impossible to sleep with due to heavy traffic noise all night. The rooms at the front (7- 9) were particularly affected. Due to thin partitioning of the upstairs rooms the walls shook every time anyone came into the corridor from outside and when they closed their bedroom doors. The rooms were beautiful clean and the decoration and furnishings were great. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff very friendly. Sadly the noise and poor night sleep meant that I would not stay there again

Stayed one night en route to airport. Single room was on floor one with no lift. However, owner helped carry suitcase up and downstairs which was great. Had evening meal and breakfast as extra and was lovely. Good selection of food. Important to reserve a table for evening meal. The room was very nice, a little hot for me but fan was available. Shower good. A lot of accommodation on ground level but only single room available. Would stay again.

December visit
We arrived following a flight into Bristol Airport, we were feeling somewhat tired. We were made most welcome and had a very good room. A good evening meal, a hot shower and comfortable bed. We had a full breakfast before continuing our journey home. Well done!

Good place to stop for one night stay visiting son in Bristol but you need car to travel into city Room small and basic but adequate and good value Breakfast good staff friendly and they managed to squeeze us in for pub dinner Would have scored better but for small details eg rusty bin in bathroom

Convenient hotel but with friendly village pub vib
Greeted by really friendly staff in a lovely bar area, although I did not eat the food looked and smelt amazing. Will definitely use this place again when travelling for work or for pleasure, ext time with out a 3am start I’ll make use of the traditional friendly traditional pub atmosphere.

Very handy for Bristol airport.
Great place to stay before a flight from the airport which is really nearby. Enjoyed a good dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Would stay again if fly from Bristol.

Perfect for Bristol Airport
We used this a stay before the airport. Perfect distance from the airport. Plenty of parking at the rear with camera. We had a double.room with a twin lock off (14) perfect for a family of 4. Staff were lovely and friendly. This is a old coaching house, not a modern hotel so it is quirky but that is its charm.

Close to airport, if you have time airport bus stops out the front. Bolt cheaper than taxi and Uber. Food was nice. Would stay again.

We stayed as we were going to a wedding a few miles up the road. The location was extremely convenient and the staff were super friendly they even allowed us to check in early before going to the wedding. The only downsides were a) it’s literally next to the a38 so there’s quite a lot of road noise outside even very early in the morning and the sound proofing isn’t great in an old building and b) there needs to be better black out blinds or curtains in the room. If you take earplugs and an eye mask though you’d be fine. We were in a family room and the kids sleeping area was also through a separate door which was great. It would be the perfect stop off for an early flight from Bristol airport which is what I think a lot of people use it for.

Great for overnight stay
This was an ideal hotel to stay before flying from Bristol airport which was only a 5 minute drive away. It is situated on the main road to airport so very easy to find. Our room had obviously been recently furnished and had nice decoration and fittings.
