Best service airline I’ve been on for years
Friendly, enthusiastic staff - the best we have seen in years and across many airlines. Even more impressive given that we travelled economy class and at a time when the wearing of face-masks was prolific.
Late night arrival and baggage took so long to be available which is a Melbourne airport issue not Hapan airlines
An upgrade would be great for the return flight 22Jan
Checkin was a little slow as I wasn’t able to checkin online for some reason, but otherwise all very good.
First holiday flying JAL. They are a good quality airline.
Only negative issue is that as JAL partnered/code shared with Jetstar on the Tokyo to Osaka part of the trip, there was no refreshment. So the JAL part of the trip is fine however, when comparing to Jetstar, it does make Jetstar not look as appealing with the smaller seats and no food.
I purchased transit connecting ticket from Osaka to Haneda off and self transfer to Narita airport take flight to go Brisbane and connecting to Canberra. However the problem was I missed flight from Narita airport to Brisbane because delayed 35 mins flight from Osaka to Haneda airport. I only had 3 hrs 40 mins self changing airport from Haneda to Narita airport it was not enough time to take flight. Fortunately Japanese airline helped me to take next day flight however I had to wait too long and waste my time at airport. So actually I do not suggested this flight schedule.
