"Cute cabin! My family and I loved it! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here! Great location in a super quiet neighborhood. The home was decorated beautifully and felt very cozy. We were so appreciative that coffee was available for us, and the tea selection was unexpectedly nice. The hot water at the tap was also a really nice touch. We especially appreciated how kind the host was when one of our teens accidentally broke a lightbulb in the game room. We cleaned it up and replaced it, but the host's understanding response made us feel welcome.The bedrooms worked well for our group, though we did have to play rock, paper, scissors for the primary bedroom. Since we were two couples, we were hoping for a second King bed instead of a Queen. The game room was a nice touch for the kids. They loved the pool table, though be warned the shuffleboard isn’t level (so the games are a hilarious chaotic adventure). It might be time to replenish the darts too since we only found 3 working ones. We couldn’t quite figure out the fireplace, but I’m sure it would have been wonderful.Just a couple of heads-up for future renters regarding the house rules. The trash limit of "one bag per family per night" was a challenge. Pizza boxes filled our quota fast. Also, dishes must be washed and put away before checkout. It makes the last morning breakfast a little tricky when you have to stop kids from using dishes so you can leave on time. But the amenities were otherwise perfect (thanks for the emergency toothbrush)!"

"The property was clean and in a lovely area. It was close to local shops and places to eat perfect for a quiet getaway. It appeared that the property was still under construction a bit, and a few surfaces were unfinished and a few things didn’t work perfectly, but that did not disruptour stay. The property is beautiful as a and everything we needed was available to us. The most enjoyable part of the property was the large living room and open kitchen concept. It was great for a family to enjoy a weekend."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Myrtle Chalet. As a family, we felt our stay had everything we needed to feel cozy, comfortable, and at ease. The lot itself is so spacious with a beautiful playground and yard for the children to play in. Inside, the cabin has 3 rooms and large living room with a cozy chimney! The chimney is truly the accent piece that brings this cabin to life! The couch was very comfortable, the shower was spacious, and the dining area made meals feel special. I recommend this stay to anyone that is looking to stay in Big Bear! "
