"We checked in after 4pm and were told our room would not be ready for another hour. When we did finally get in the room there were no cups, no coffee, and only a tiny bit of toilet paper with no additional rolls anywhere to be found. There was no breakfast which I think was supposed to be included. Finally, one of the two beds in our room was clearly broken and sagged with a big dip on one side. Overall, not what I was expecting and some things need to be addressed there. "

"Our stay here was amazing! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a retro vibe but the rooms were clean, comfortable and remodeled which made the room very cozy. The pool and spa were amazing and the pool was slightly heated. Even though it was windy the pool temperature was still great! There is a little bar and restaurant on the property. We didn’t get to try it but it looked great. The price was great despite the fact that Stagecoach was happening this weekend. It’s not for those looking for a big chain hotel with lots of amenities. But if you like the cozy boutique feel(only 30 rooms on site)with a retro feel then this place is great!"

"Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Parking was right out front for our mid-week stay. A convenient location for the west entrance to Joshua Tree and a visit to Pioneertown for dinner. A good price for what we received. Highly recommend."

"We love how there are multiple hot tubs. The hot tub’s temp was 103 degrees and it was awesome. The pool was about 90. We got breakfast and lunch at the restaurant onsite. I think it’s named Capri? The food was good and Adam our server was very helpful and welcoming. Food was hot and the drinks were cold. 👍 Honestly the rooms are very dated and the hallway smelled like weed when we arrived. This hotel has kind of cornered the market in this area if you want the multiple hot tubs, so you have to tolerate the old furnishings and carpeted rooms. It seems like the staff made an effort to clear up the weed odor because the stairs smelled like air freshener the next day, but the hallways not so much. We have been here many times over the years and it is still pretty consistent in all the areas mentioned above. It’s a popular location for people visiting Coachella & Stagecoach festivals so beware of these weekends as this hotel fill up quickly. There are also lots of people who also seem to come here for the hot tubs. We will be returning for the hot tubs and the great service from folks like Adam. "

"I was hoping for natural mineral pools without chlorination, but even the private pools are at 5%. This left my skin dry and smelled strongly. They told me it is a California regulation that you must chlorinate, but that’s only true if they’re not circulating the water frequently enough. The property is a bit grungy and needs refreshing. There are better options in town. "
