"It's a really cute cottage, but for that price we were expecting way more. The plates weren't clean, too few spoons, no cozy seating area on the terrace, small chairs at the bar, no lighter for the gas heater, the mosquito net was not everywhere closed, so we had on one day a huge amount of animals in the cottage. The area around a little messy and not welcoming. No basic stuff like salt, pepper and oil available (that should be a must have!). The poor dog of the owner was whimpering especially...

"My wife and I stayed in one of the cottages while viewing potential real estate deals. All communications were excellent leading up to and during the visit. Because we were visiting as Hurricane Beryl was forming the staff gave us there local view on what was coming so we could make decisions as we were moving on next to Ambergris Caye.

" My stay at Sunset Caribe was amazing. I had a two bedroom suite. All of questions prior to arrival were answered in a timely fashion. I would suggest communicating with the property via email to receive a faster response. They offer a free laundry service and welcome drink. I recommend renting a golf cart from them so you can park closer to your room. Everything was perfect except one thing....... The water pressure sucks. Its like somebody is spitting on you in the shower. That beautiful establishment with sucky water pressure. The customer service, housekeeping, shuttle service and the restaurant staff and food was amazing. Ill definitely be staying again. "
