"Very clean and modern room, very good location, parking was the only thing that sucked. $45 valet parking only."

"When we arrived there was poop sprayed all over the toilet. We immediately complained, and to their credit, they quickly cleaned it. The room was old, wallpaper peeling, but the beds appeared clean. Overall I was uncomfortable because in my head if they missed the toilet, what else was missed. They offered a newer room, but we decided to get a refund for our 2nd night and go elsewhere "

"Been on the road for couple of weeks. I had best sleep so far. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean, staffs were very nice and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again in the mear future. "

"Volume did not work on tv remote…no phone so I had to walk to the lobby 3 times to have them say that maintenance had to fix it the next day. Maintenance never showed up. There was an inch gap at the bottom of the door and a cockroach showed up on the table. They charged for parking which I was not expecting and first night when I went to put something in my car there were individuals in a truck just smoking away. In general the staff acted like I was an inconvenience to them!"

"The Vurpillat is in a great location right on the beach. Our room was comfortable and clean, not fancy but good. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a kitchenette. The parking situation is confusing- it's street parking and we were supposed to receive a parking pass, but didn't get it until the second day (the caretaker was sick), so had to feed the meter. There was mention of reimbursing our parking- that didn't happen. They also don't tell you beforehand that you shouldn't try to drive up to the hotel to drop off stuff. Just park on the street and walk over. Definitely, definitely not disablity friendly, so it would be impossible for someone with those needs. It seemed there were a lot of long-term 'renters' who were hanging around and it got a bit noisy. Just giving information. I would stay there again for the location, price and the comfy bed."

"Front desk staff were great - super helpful. I just didn’t like that a dirty room service tray from previous guests stayed outside my room as I was checking in / and for hours that afternoon. Reminded me someone had just checked out if room I was in and subconsciously made me worry if it was cleaned properly. Which it was. Was very clean. "

"The Redondo Beach Sonesta Hotel is a beautiful property, which is directly across from the bay. The hotel is very clean and modern. The hotel staff were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. There is an additional $43 per night fee for valet parking or $40 for self parking so we opted for valet. "
