We stayed at Paddymelon Cottage in Clunes for 3 nights in March 2026, a period miner’s cottage. While it was generally comfortable, we found the interior was in need of some work. At least one wall had some very obvious cracks and in places the paintwork was deteriorating, peeling and/or marked. ...

great area for the bikeride. also got to drive through wonderful towns & walk around old buildings etc, this whole area is great.

Avoca is great we came for the Pyrenees Unearthed Wine + Food Festival which is an event well worth attending
