"Great place to stay and breakfast was great "

"We stayed for 3 nights at the Star Gold Coast. Whilst we were happy with the central location and the facilities within the hotel, we were very unhappy with the house keeping. On our first day, when returning to the room early evening, we found our room had not been services, despite that we turned off the 'privacy' sign before we left that morning. A call to Housekeeping we were advised that we needed to switch on the 'service' sign. That is definitely a first for us. As long as there is no privacy sign, the room should have been serviced. The second day, we made sure the 'service' sign was switch on that morning at 8am. Upon return at 4pm, the room was still not serviced. We picked up clean towels from the housekeeping trolley, which was still at the same location it was that early morning. The cleaner was too busy sitting in one of the rooms looking at her phone. Also for three days there was dirty glassware outside the neighbours room. Nobody bothered to pick it up. Housekeeping mentioned they wash glasses in the room, and do not take glasses away. Housekeeping is certainly not 5 star at this accommodation."

"The room was clean, didn’t really have much interaction with the staff except for check-in/check-out. Furniture in the main lobby was not clean or well maintained. Housekeeping was done to late in the afternoon on two occassion we went out early morning and returned around 2pm and room still hadn’t been done so we put out our “do not disturb signed”."

"My family and I enjoyed our stayed in the 2 Bedroom Unit. Great location. The room was clean. Lovely bath towels and breakfast was wonderful. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer so we'll be back! "

"We had a wonderfull experience especially with Ocean Views. Twin Towns is a Mecca for familiar faces and the only thing we missed out on was breakfast, but there will be plenty oof time for that next time we visit the MANTRA Coolangatta. Kind regards, GiGi Law & M. McKeown"

"Stayed a few times . Rooms are in not very good shape . Stained carpets , Bed light fittings hanging loose on wall , Damaged wall inside robe , etc . Just like last visit . Staff were all good , just the rooms need re -doing"
