Summary:
A secluded Mediterranean-style villa set high above Onetangi, The Villino blends coastal luxury with countryside calm. With private heated pool, spa, sweeping sea views, and terraced gardens filled with olives, fruit trees, and bright island colour, this is your own peaceful hilltop retreat, perfect for slow mornings, long afternoons, and golden Onetangi sunsets.
The Space:
Hidden among the terraces of a working vineyard and olive grove, The Villino is a romantic and quietly luxurious one-bedroom escape with full privacy and panoramic views across Onetangi Bay, Great Barrier, and the outer gulf.
Large bi-fold doors open the living space to sun-drenched terraces, shaded lounging spots, and your private 10 × 4 m swimming pool (heated Oct–June), adjoining spa, outdoor shower, and BBQ pavilion. Inside, the villa is warm, earthy, and calming, with handcrafted details, timber ceilings, and a cosy open-plan living/kitchen area with a wood-burning stove.
The bedroom is peaceful and beautifully lit, with soft linens and garden views. The full bathroom includes a rain shower and separate bathtub for slow evening unwinds. Everywhere you look, the surrounding vineyard, gardens, and sea come into view.
A boutique breakfast is provided, and guests are welcome to explore the extensive estate: olive groves, fruit gardens, native bush, shaded picnic spots, and sweeping coastal lookouts.
