The location was good for us but the traffic noise was a shocker. It was relentless and sleep was elusive. We had to request fly spray as the unit was full of very small midge like house flys. They were just everywhere.

Place is very close to the main road and no noise dampening. You will hear cars and trucks drive by all night which will keep you up, it’s like your sleeping outside. No view at all, the name of the place should be changed.

Aboslutely enjoyed my stay there..Had the motorway view with big windows..the room was big and spacious including the bathroom..kitchen was fully equipped with what u needed for cooking..the couch was super comfy which you can sit 3 ppl easily..if i had to fault 1 thing it would be the tv is to small for the room and cause its on a corner or maybe be on corner wall bracket..but overall i would deffinately come back here.

Start with the good points: the lady that checked us in was top notch. We felt immediately welcomed. The staff obviously work hard to keep the place clean. Unfortunately, there is no mention that the property is directly on an extremely busy thoroughfare, under high tension lines, and across from a cement plant and container facility. Noisy? You bet. Big transport trucks loading containers all night. Other trucks using engine brakes as they came off the highway ramp. No AC so windows must stay open. There was plenty of space in the rooms, and they weren’t run down. It is an independently run motel. Still, no view, no airport shuttle (which I knew about, so that’s ok). Good points, pub/restaurant next door a pleasant surprise. Although I didn’t have it, I’d have the fish and chips next time. Looked huge! The district of Onehunga is about a km down the street and we really liked that. I would go back, but I want everyone to know what they’re buying.

Very close to motor way and noisy, No heat pump/air con . Would personally not stay here again with the traffic noise and lights that beam into the rooms all night. Was really happy with the manager who gave a full refund when I explained we had a very sleepless night listening to traffic.

Room layout was fine, I had an upstairs room, and I would suggest a curtain on the window by the door as it lets light in at night. Foudn TV and sky difficult to make work but only stayed one night so not a big issue. Bigger towels would be nice.

Our room was found to nice and clean. Only downside was noises from the freeway and dock yard... started moving shipping containers around 4.00 am. Ear plugs were provided in bedside cabinets for light sleepers. If you’re tired and looking for a place to rest for the night, it’s ok.
