The property amply met our expectations. It was spacious, beautifully furnished and provided a generously stocked kitchen and bathroom. We felt welcomed and extremely comfortable. The views of the countryside were relaxing. We were attending a wedding but there are lots of attractions and activities locally. We will return.
Located in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside, the Old Courthouse is a wonderful place to relax, connect with nature and enjoy time with family. The property is very comfortable, very well stocked and caters easily for large family gatherings. We loved the family kitchen and especially enjoyed using the outdoor grill while taking in the glorious sunsets. The roll top baths were an exceptional treat. A great house that we would love to revisit one day!
Excellent property, we were 7 adults and thoroughly enjoyed the house. Spacious and clean and very well kitted out. Great communication and all thoroughly professional.
The whole family came to celebrate my mums special birthday.
What a beautiful interesting house, could not believe the amazing amount of kitchen utensils, pots pans etc (just need some more oven trays. We even took advantage of the tennis court. Had a fabulous weekend, cannot recommend The Old Courthouse enough.
A large and very old cottage which has been well done up inside. Very secluded, quiet and rural location. Near Derby, Derbyshire and the Peak District are all within driving distance. A very enjoyable stay was had by all.
The Courthouse was a beautiful home to stay and to rejuvenate
after coming out of Lockdown 2. The home was fully equipped to house the 5 of us, and everything one might need was on hand. Bedrooms were clean, beds comfortable and kitchen well equipped. We all loved our stay and every morning to sit outside and have the first cup of coffee of the day whilst hearing the birds, lambs calling for their mothers and the sun shining was exactly what the soul needed. I will always remember this lovely home and am grateful that my teenage children could just be free to play outside and go for long country walks. A beautiful home, and Annie (property manager) was so helpful and kind and only a call away if you need anything. We will all be back again and many more times in the future. Thank You again.
Superb in every way, excellent property, beautifully maintained in a lovely rural area, with great walks to decent pubs. The owners are lovely, very friendly and attentive. Couldn't fault it.

Beautiful property and great weekend away!
I recently stayed at the old courthouse and had a wonderful weekend. The property was so lovely, nicely furnished and a great place to relax. We had an 18 month child with us and all the facilities were provided for her during the trip which was great! There is lots to do near by, we went to the horseshoe pub which was very cosy and had great food and service. We would visit again!
