"A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers. The staff were lovely & the continental breakfast varied & suited us well.
The rooms are separate "chalets" with allocated parking spaces next to each front door. We were concerned that staying in a pub may be noisy, but had a very peaceful night's sleep! The beds were very comfy & the family room spacious enough for 2 adults & 2 teenage kids (as long as they are happy in bunk beds!)
The rooms are very dated & could do with a freshen up. They could also do with a really thorough clean, the corners etc. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at Limestone cottage, it was exactly what we all needed for some R&R and the hote tub was a great perk. The views were stunning, the house was comfortable and the kitchen made it incredibly easy to cater to everyone, including lots of allergies.My only bugbear, and the reason for 4 stars and not 5 was one of the sofas was absolutely covered in animal hair, oit was a p"
