"The waiters and waitresses were just amazing! So kind, so smart, so enjoyable. They made us feel so welcome and special. The hotel itself is beyond amazing! It's design and decor are beyond unbelievable. Even walking down the hallway to our room is an enjoyable experience. Como Point Yamu delighted us every day. "The restaurant was not very good for the buffet breakfast or the lunch there. Breakfast was not very varied and every "hot" food except soup was actually cold every day, which is not safe. For lunch, they got 3 out of 4 items ordered incorrect. We tried to ask the front desk questions about shopping and activities, but they did not speak enough English to help and I only speak about 30 Thai phrases so we just researched on Google. our room was full of drain flies. Literally hundreds of flies, every day. We told the front desk immediately and they didn't do anything or move us. Every day we killed at least 50, every morning they were in the bathroom, shower, on the bedding and in the curtains. Housekeeping didn't even clean up all the dead flies daily. The bed is the hardest mattress I've ever encountered, even after years of Asia travels. There were no options for anything else or a topper."

"Room was extremely filthy. The couch and sheets had stains all over it and the floor was rusty and sticky. The bathroom was dirty and smelled like pee. There were bugs crawling as well. When I brought it up to reception she told me that there was no housekeeping on site until the next day and apologized. Of course I left because there’s no way I’ll stay through the night in such conditions. They offered no refund or compensation for their lack of service."
