"Very good food as well easy parking will use again"

"Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful and polite, even moved me from a room in the inn to an annexe room so I could be away from noise from bar. Also had a very good breakfast which is extra but excellent value for money. Definitely recommend it hotel and breakfast."

"The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble Breakfast was excellent (especially the croissants)"

"Reception, housekeeping and staff in the dining room and bar were very friendly and helpful"

"Every time I travel back north I stay at this place as it's friendly, has what you need and more-aka the restaurant next door and nearby to bigger shops too"

"Hotel was very good, but a little out in the sticks. The food was typical pub grub, but well cooked on the premises. No other pubs, shops or restaurants in the village and there are very few restaurants in the nearest town Bishop Auckland."

"Great location, clean room and friendly staff and topped off with a great breakfast."

"Room was a good size. Nice comfy bed"
