"This hotel has a magnificent location, with direct access to the riverside, which offers astonishing views of the Maclay river and the opposite bank. It is close to shops, and the main town centre. It is an older style property, but has a great, family vibe. "

"We had a lovely weekend, despite the absolute pour down… it cleared up for a bit and the kids loved the pool with the waterslide: the three bedroom cabins are so new and amazing. Unfortunately our two tvs didn’t work the whole time. Maybe it was cause of the rain, receptionist was so great and apologetic. Maybe I should’ve rang them about it. But I didn’t: not to worry! Would love to stay here again."

"The property is currently doing some updates and renovations with plans to add a spa. The self contained Villa is lovely and well furnished. Our room was very large and spacious. Well appointed with iron, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster. Loads of large fluffy towels. The staff were amazing and friendly. I would recommend The Med for short or long stays. "
