"Great location, friendly and attentive staff, clean room and facilities, lovely breakfast. Would stay again. Only negative was we experienced some noise from other guests throughout the night but this is out of the control of the hotel."

"Good hotel, location ideal just a short walk from Oxford circus underground. We stayed on the ground floor (room7 which was very spacious however on same corridor as luggage room, with adjoining door. Fairly noisy from guests next door, people in the street qnd the underground. Room on higher floor may have been better. Breakfast was good value for what we paid - add this on when booking to get it at better cost or £12.99 pp to add when at hotel. Room wasnt available until after 2pm, early check-in fee was £30."

"The hotel is in an excellent spot for a short stay, most places are easily walkable, and the underground station is right next door. Plenty of shops and eateries are close by, which makes the location even more convenient. The rooms were perfectly adequate for a 4‑star hotel: well maintained, clean, and functional. The TV is on the small side by today’s standards, but not a deal‑breaker. The only real quirk was the black‑marble entrance steps down into the main room. It’s easy to miss, especially at night, and could be hazardous. It’s an old building, so you expect these things, but a night light would make a big difference. It didn’t bother us too much; we put the anti‑slip bath mat over the step as a precaution. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone, front desk, bar, housekeeping, was consistently courteous and made the whole stay feel seamless. They genuinely look after you. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel."
