"Le Square Phillip in Montreal was the perfect hotel for my short business trip. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean hotel, old but very well maintained, spacious sweet with a kitchen filled with all cooking needs. Had a quite and a pleasant night.

"The room was small compared to other hotels, however it was all you need and roomy for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. We were able to walk to Old Montreal, St. Catherine street, Mount Royal etc very convenient location. (We like to walk). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The one thing we really appreciated was you needed to use your key to enter the hotel after hours. The breakfast was the same for the 5 days we were there. It was all you needed but would like to have had different options like a waffle batter and iron, but Like i mentioned what was served is all you need. The only other thing (I'm sounding picky) a vending mention on every other floor. I didnt think there was one until I seen it on the last day. It is located around the corner from the lobby. They were able to keep our luggage after we checked out in a secured room. Very well organized. Overall this was a very friendly, clean hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. Great job. "
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Montreal Centre-ville Ouest by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Visited Montreal with my wife and 2 teenage kids. The room we had was amazing. I don’t usually review hotels but I felt I had to because of the room and the view. The room was huge, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the good sized. We used the pool and hot tub and it was clean and fun and expected to be busy since we visited during the summer. The pool is at a corner of the 15th floor which gives it great views. I used the gym every day I was there, mostly in the morning and twice at night. Plenty of ellipticals, bikes, and treadmills for the space. One set of free weights and 2 benches along with other machines. Plenty for a hotel gym which is located at another corner of the building on the 15th floor which lends itself to a nice view while on the ellipticals, bikes, and treadmills. The hours for the pool and gym are 5am to 11pm. I usually workout at midnight or later while on trips with the kids so I don’t have to interfere with our plans so I had to work around those gym hours. No towels are provided at the gym so just be prepared to bring one from your room. I had a rental car but used a ride share because it was easier to have someone else drive around all of the pedestrians and tight roads which I recommend. Using the parking garage was about $35-$40 which they disclose prior. I was a little skeptical with it being a holiday inn but I was blown away with the quality of this stay. "
