"Husbands 60th birthday. 30 minutes delayed check in. Room was clean, comfy and we would return. Kettle and tv provided. Small mini-mart on ground level next door. checked in at 2:30pm. We walked to the Louvre for tickets 4pm and made that nicely. "

"The room is basic and small, although generally speaking this tends to be the norm with Paris. The room was clean with a great view, and the balcony was a particularly attractive feature, providing great views of Gare Du Nord. Some visitors complain about having to leave your key with reception when you leave the room, but I find this quite useful - you cannot lose your key! The breakfast is basic, so make sure you are down early or there may not be a great range of food items left."

"Easy to get to from Gare Du Nord. Fast access to trains and all attractions. Area isn't the greatest at night, but could just feel that way as nothing actually happened while there and no bad street experiences. Recommend for its value and proximity "

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Metropol! A perfect room for two with a nice bathroom. Great that the hotel had a lift too as we were on the sixth floor. The staff are amazing - so helpful, friendly, kind, and funny! Really close to Gare de Nord for connecting metros and trains. In walking distance to lots of shops, cafes and boulangeries! Thank you for having us. "
