Convenient location — the hotel is within walking distance of Gare du Nord train station, making it very easy to access trains and public transportation. There isn’t much to do in the immediate area, but it’s a great hotel for a short stay or if you need quick access to transportation. The room was clean, big and comfortable.

The staff were lovely, from the helpful and thorough check-in I got to the faultless housekeeping every day to the breakfast staff. My room was amazing - nice and quiet thanks to being on the side away from the road, and while not spotless (marked paint in a few places, a sink that's continously stained because it doesn't drain perfectly) it was a great environment.

The staff at NH Hotel Gare de l'Est were incredible - welcoming, friendly, incredibly helpful and attentive. I cannot speak more highly of them. I purchased the on-site breakfast package, and I'm so glad I did! Im addition to the food being varied, beautifully displayed, amd good, the staff in the breakfast dining area were so friendly, and cheerful and helpful! They remembered me by name each day and made me feel so welcome.

Great overnight stay

We stayed at the hotel for one night as a stopover. It was great for this. Although our room was small it was clean, bright, quiet and cool (it was very hot outside!). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was squeaky clean.

Great location! Plusses: very quiet despite active hotel and noisy neighborhood. Plenty of good lighting. Comfortable bed and linens. Nice attention to details: Good storage with hangars and room hooks, bathroom mirror has a section that doesn’t steam up. Staff quickly fixed the one item not working in our room. Shout out to the breakfast manager who was very welcoming and attentive and pitched in to help his staff. Also to the barman who was a consistently efficient, professional and knowledgeable.
