The room was fine, but there was property remodeling in the pool area, and it was so loud (I was on the 5th Floor). For that reason, I was unable to sleep well. I woke up before 6 am because of loud construction noise. After I explained to the hotel employees, they moved me to a new room on the 9th floor to comfort me, but the new room was not as fabulous as I had hoped. Overall, it was an okay stay.

We had a wonderful stay at The Garland this past weekend and would absolutely recommend it to friends! The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and the property was very well-maintained. We loved the pool and the dive-in movies at night! We didn’t go to Universal, but it was incredibly close and the hotel had a shuttle to and from the park (we plan to stay here again next time we come to visit Universal). This was a great find and we will definitely be back!
