We always have a great time at the Airedale, the room was upgraded, the free drinks on arrival, the warm welcome back from the staff, it’s just the best!! The breakfast is 5 star!!

Really good hotel - staff were excellent, facilities were top notch

Staff were so nice- especially Anna! All staff were so accommodating and helped us with whatever we needed. Beautiful place to stay at. Personally wouldn’t recommend over 3 or 4 nights in colder weather as it does get a little hard to figure out plans.

We have stayed many incredible and beautiful places all over the world. Te Karaka Lodge is completely in a class by itself! Everything and everyone in this place is superb. There is not one little detail which is not lovingly cared for by the staff. It is a gorgeous place in gorgeous surroundings. There were 4 of us and we were very sad not to be able to book a second night. Dinner was indescribable. Every presentation rivaled a masterpiece painting. We have many pictures of both dinner and breakfast the following morning! An exquisite and memorable place which we loved and appreciated to the fullest.

Great property within walking distance of many attractions, shopping and dining options. Most bus tours which originate from Sky City is directly across the street from the hotel, as is the Sky Tower, casino, the Civic Theatre, et al. The property is high end and the staff is kind, well trained, and very accommodating. The hotel's restaurant is very good. We had breakfast and dinnwr there. The city's Viaduct Harbor with all of its dining and shopping options are also in walking distance. Additionally, the is a hop on/off stop is in the next block, approximately 100 yards/meters from the hotel. We will go back, and highly recommend it for holiday, business travel, or weekend getaway.

Great location, large room's unfortunately you have to pay extra for pool and sauna and the gym, it belongs to another hotel in the building.
