"The room itself was ok but some patches on the walls were damaged and not repaired. But the checking in was horrible! I had to ring this number, then I got someone on the phone that demanded I tell her my credit card number or I wouldn’t be getting access to a locked box which has my key in it. There were other people in the room yet I still had to give them my number. I explained that the payment had already been done but she said she needed my number to verify or guarantee the payment. It was very hard to do and I told someone else to get out of the room so they couldn’t hear me hear my numbers . Very frustrating!!! I will never go back there again even though it was ok room. But I could have been overheard !!"

"The view is the deal. Room very compact and I understand the host was trying for a "kiwi bach" feeling but I would ditch the unnecessary decorations and install some usable furniture. Small things like large towels make such a difference. I would think it would be very cold in winter."

"This property is kept very clean and is well maintained. The listing for description and pictures are very accurate. The hosts are extremely polite and made our stay very welcoming. This property is within 20 minutes walking distance to multiple restaurants and conveniently located for all driving distances in Auckland. Very happy with this location. "

"It was godsend to find everything we would need was already supplied by William. (Dishwashing tabs, clothes detergent, drying racks, iron, oven, washing machine and dryer, shampoo, etc). Even rubbish and recycling bins were available on site. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and in a very quiet, scenic location just a short walk to the train and bus station. 5 Stars!"

"This motel needs a revamp both inside and outside the paint work was knocked around inside, the lounge chairs were grubby, curtains were grubby and had broken hooks, so did not hang correctly, there were ants over the kitchen bench and ants over the bathroom vanity, the carpet was grubby and had stains over it. The shower and toilet were clean and so were the sheets on the bed, the towels also were clean. A fabulous view from our downstairs unit out onto the beach. We felt the unit was overpriced for the condition it was in.I would not stay there again."
