Beautiful little apartment, within walking distance to the Maritime Museum, shops restaurants and bars, really loved the location.

Lovely, quality finishes in our room. The wardrobe doors were beautiful. Very spacious wardrobe. Jug, microwave and toaster in room. Nicest mugs we've ever had in a room! Bed was comfortable. reverse cycle air conditioning great for heating. Very cold place. Bathroom was lovely, beautiful tiling. Step into bath, shower above, hand rail on wall for assistance. Toiletries suppled. Towels were soft, something you don't often get. Only down side, was because of the shape of the wall, there was no leg room around the toilet. We laughed as we used the side-saddle method. All good fun. Really nice place to stay.

We had an incredible stay in the most peaceful and comfortable room (Kelly) with a stunning vista, the staff aren’t on site at all times, and there is a beautiful self-service communal kitchen that is well appointed with some tasty local basics (cakes, jams, toast). I certainly couldn’t have asked for anything more, it’s exactly what we wanted. But don’t expect full service with amenities galore. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Charming retreat close to everything. We had a great short stay here and would definitely come again. The room was very comfortable (especially the heated tiles in the ensuite) and the whole building itself and the grounds were beautiful. Lovely breakfast including their in-house apricot jam.

All Reception staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a basic Continental variety. Cut up fruit was good but takeaway fresh fruit was aged and not inviting. Parking was available but at a cost of $25 pn which was well worth it being so centrally located a 7 min approx walk to the harbour and Salamanca markets. The bed in our room was not so comfortable and very squeaky. There was considerable traffic noise from Macquarie St and the air brakes of trucks being heard throughout the night and early mornings. This was from our room that fronted Macquarie St…other rooms may not be as affected as ours was. Overall The Macquarie Manor was very conveniently situated for our stay in Hobart and once again the 4 or so different staff at Reception whom we met over our 5 night stay were fantastic and did a great job.
