I stayed with Taj in Cape Town for one night and it was an excellent experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I hiked table mountain my second day and they held my baggage for me after checkout and let me use the facilities to freshen up before my departure. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cape Town!

Liz and Carlo were very welcoming, and Villa Puccini was the perfect place for us to rest our heads for two nights before heading back to the US.

The Hote's location is very good. Walking distance from some bars and restaurants. The room was very spacious and beautiful. There is however is problem with the water system of the hotel. We stayed in Room 808 and the sound of running water through the pipes were so loud, that they had to move us at 04:00 in the morning to another room, because we could not tolerate the sound anymore. We were moved to room 812. Although we could still hear the water running through the pipes, it was not as loud when you closed the bathroom door. The buffet breakfast was very good, but it would have been nice if the waiter informed us of the menu where we could also order from. I would stay there again just on a different floor.
