Indian Island County Park Kid friendly Holidays

Great location in lower Manhattan. The hotel was comfortable, well maintained and near good restaurants and pubs. The staff was very helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Its a great location with a fantastic restaurant connected. If they can get you a discount on parking it would be even better.

Loft room was very comfortable and a good size, rooms were cleaned well and the hotel is in a great location. The aircon in our room didn’t work and the staff moved our belongings from our room while we were out without our permission despite having previously agreed that we would pack everything up ourselves. Hotel fire alarm went off at midnight and no explanation on what was going on after. Ice and water machine on our floor didn’t work for duration of stay. Customer service has room for improvement. Overall decent stay aside from a few issues.

The Art Deco vibe is great! It really made me feel like I was in New York. A key thing to remember is that you will need plenty of loose cash to tip the many amazing staff you will run into (doorman, bellboy, housekeeping, concierge, etc.) They offer live music at the evening wine hour with complimentary beverages and hors d'oeuvres, which is another highlight for this hotel. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. It is situated very near Times Square and the noise level is usually high. My room was tiny, but functional as I was traveling alone and well-appointed. If I ever go back to NYC, I will likely return to The Edison.
