We very much enjoyed the pool bar while our son enjoyed the pool.

It was a great place with very unique style of hotel.

The property was beautiful. Swim up bar & pool area was excellent. Resort staff were friendly upon arrival. Information was missed during check in because the Vacation timeshare ppl was in a rush to sell vacation shares, the front desk clerk could barely finish providing all information for the resort. We wasn’t able to eat at any restaurants on site because we didn’t get informed of having to make reservations 48hrs prior. The breakfast food was great. Lunch & dinner buffet wasn’t the best to my liking.

I was hopeful of a nice stay as we had stayed in The Royal Solaris. And we had also used my in laws member/socio perks and discount. However this time we found a cheaper price in expedia. And the difference was felt especially in the food. It was horrible. They would put left over food for 3 days straight. Pool food was portioned fries, hot dogs and burgers. Old pastries, old toppings, fake guac. No options, no variety or good quality food. The drinks are filled with sugar and watered down refilled liquor bottles. Beer and sodas were flat, unless coming from a can. The pool was dirty. The last few days it was super obvious and gross. Garbage and not clear. Green mold in the edge of pools and hot tub. The night entertainment was great. Pool Staff and bar were kind and helpful. Shout out to Jose at the pool and Mauricio at the bar! And the lady at the Omelette station! Housekeeping was also good and thorough.
