Well situated. Comfortable rooms. Staff are pleasant and professional.
The lifts are very slow. We have stayed in lots of hotels in Australasia on our trip and this is the only one that doesn’t offer a buffet breakfast, only a order from the menu one.This was a surprise and disappointment.
The local cafes benefitted from our custom then.

The place is very wonderful and unique. Ideal for families with children with a very homie vibe. I like that it has a kitchen where have an option to cook but there are a lot of cafe’s around.

I could at times hear people talking in the next room, maybe it was the TV?
The hallway hadn't been vacuumed and wasn't for the three nights I was there.
There was cobwebs on the ceiling light.
The restaurant menu was ordinary and I thought for that expensive. The bar food was again, no great shakes.
They charge for WiFI. A thing of the past.
There was nothing in the fridge to drink or snacks.
The bed was good.
I will never again go to a Mecure Hotel.

"Very convenient if you’re attending a show at the Palais. Bed good, room clean, great shower! Large, comfy communal lounge area. Small annoyance - air conditioner and fridge a bit noisy. Close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Short walk to Acland St."

"Great stay. Excellent location. Easy access to Brighton among other important sites. Keep in mind everything in Australia closes early so make arrangements with front desk well in advance if you are arriving late. A second bathroom would have helped in efficiency."
