Excellent value. Spacious room, relatively quiet and very convenient for our purposes.
Regarding room cleanliness, this could be improved. I felt that countertops, doors, door handles, light switches need to be thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant. As is often the case with hotels and serviced apartments, the level of attention to these areas can always be better. One garbage bin was total missed during the one cleaning service we had during our stay. (And it was full)
Grateful for the swimming pool However, regarding hand-held shower device in women's restroom at the pool, it was loose and I was unable to fix it. I had to return to my room to shower after my swim.
I would return to this property.

I have stayed here twice during 2025 and is now my default place if I need to stay on the east side of Melbourne CBD.
Great rooms, basically a full apartment with the advantages of being a hotel.
Parking is also incredibly secure behind two secure roller doors to get in. Worth its weight in gold alone.

Staying at the Windsor was like going back in time to a glorious Victorian era. The hotel has well maaintained with a lot a original features. Breakfast in the dining room is a must. Location was second to none. Staff were polite and helpful. Wonderful experience.

"This is an elegant old hotel, well maintained, right across from Parliament House. Which is both good and bad. There were demonstrations all day the first day we arrived, so it was pretty noisy in the afternoon. There are lots of restaurants in the area, and the staff are friendly and efficient."
