Fridge is room was disgusting. Beautiful hotel but seems a bit neglected. Front desk staff are fine, not awesome. No public water bottle fill station and front desk staff give you the feeling that you’re inconveniencing them when asked to fill water bottles. Excellent location and spacious rooms.

The rooms are large and decorated in the heritage style expected for this hotel. I stayed for the architecture of this hotel and was somewhat disappointed with my stay. Only one staff member was on reception and dealing with some complex issues for another customer. The wait was long after delayed flights. Was given a room with twin beds despite travelling solo. The tv service was out & no menus available in for room service that closed shortly. Once ordered down at reception, salad arrived quickly and was delicious. I wish I could’ve stayed more than one night and had a better first impression.

Great room, only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that there’s building works and the gym wasn’t operational which wasn’t displayed on the Expedia booking site. But it might explain why I paid less. Other than that the room was lovely, clean and new. They left some sweet treats and coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and had a mini milk in the fridge. The body wash/ shampoo etc smelled great. Lots of little extras made it a comfortable stay.
