Woodinville’s a bit outside the bustle of central Seattle, but if you’re a wine lover—or a whisky lover—you’ll be glad you made the trek.

In Woodinville sou can spend heaps of time hopping from winery to winery, as there are more than 140 in the area. There’s also Woodinville Whisky Co., where you sip spirits in a wood-panelled tasting room. Word to the wise—leave the kiddos at home for this one, because these whisky-lovers enjoy their peace and quiet! The good news is the sprogs will go mad for the zip-lines and ropes course at Adventura Aerial Adventure Park. Woodinville also has awesome forests, so check out the hiking and biking trails at Paradise Valley Conservation Area.
