"This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people. The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices. Convenient...

"Fourth visit. Welcoming staff, spotless bed linen and towels, comfortable bed. However, the en-suite in room 1 appeared grubby. Not actually unclean, but stained and chipped shower tray and sink plug holes didn’t give the positive impression of previous visits. Disappointing."

"Property is in a tranquil location and has a lovely lounge but generally in need of a bit of TLC. Room, 103, was quite small with little space to put our luggage but clean and tidy. Shower cubicle so small it’s comical and we’re not big people. Problem with screeching water pipes kept us up at night, reception informed us that they knew and plumber fixing on Monday. Breakfast OK. Staff all welcoming. "
